Located in central Japan, the Port of Nagoya supports wide-area logistics not only within the Chubu region but also to the Kanto, Kansai, and Hokuriku regions through a network of expressways, including the Ise Bay Expressway, the Shin-Tomei Expressway, the Shin-Meishin Expressway, and the Tokai Ring Expressway.

At this booth, under the theme of “Logistics Optimization,” we will introduce our concept of logistics zones, which takes into account actual travel times to container terminals and the highway network. You will be able to clearly see the advantages of the Port of Nagoya from the perspective of real-world logistics, including port congestion and gate processing times.

We will also introduce our initiatives toward becoming a carbon-neutral port through the supply of next-generation energy, the decarbonization of cargo-handling equipment, and collaboration with factories and power plants in the coastal area.

We have compiled data on container routes, port facilities, and logistics-related information, and we look forward to welcoming those of you who are considering logistics optimization or a review of your transportation networks.
