AutoStore is a robotic automated warehouse that achieves high-density storage by tightly stacking dedicated containers (bins) within a grid structure, eliminating the need for aisles. Furthermore, robots automatically handle the storage and retrieval of densely packed containers, with a controller managing the overall flow and database while continuously recording operation logs, thereby enabling efficient and automated inventory management. As items are repeatedly stored and retrieved, frequently accessed products are automatically consolidated in the upper layers, reducing retrieval times, and simulation software can be used to determine the optimal layout and number of robots.
