Built around Kinco’s i-series core technology concept, the iSMD is a premium integrated servo unit. It supports wide 24–60 VDC input voltage, with power coverage spanning 400 W – 1000 W. Its compact monolithic structure integrates motor, servo drive, position encoder and holding brake, enabling distributed on-machine mounting with cabinet-free architecture. Two encoder options are available: battery-backed and mechanically actuated multi-turn encoders. Models offer IP20 or IP65 ingress protection, rated for an ambient operating temperature range of 0 °C to 40 °C. Supported industrial communication protocols include CANopen, Modbus RTU, EtherCAT and Profinet. The unit complies with CE, RoHS 2.0 and UL certification standards, and incorporates STO Safe Torque Off functionality.
