We solve challenges in logistics operations through the power of communication. We help reduce labor requirements and improve operational efficiency.
We’ll introduce features that help solve challenges in logistics operations, including the Bluetooth-enabled simple business radio “TCP-D261BTE,” the digital simple radio relay system “TCB-D239CR” for expanding communication coverage, and the IP radio “KBX-P51,” which enables wide-area communication, AI translation, and transcription. Through live demonstrations, you can experience firsthand how these solutions address labor shortages, facilitate smooth communication with international staff, and ensure stable information sharing across large logistics facilities.

Dual-Band Digital Business Radio / Repeater / TCB-D239CR
-
Target Sector
Customers who are considering ways to share information in real time and strengthen coordination with remote locations, such as logistics companies, distribution centers, and sales offices

Use Scenes(Usage/Recipies)
These devices are recommended for use in large factories, facilities, and other locations where conventional basic commercial two-way radios cannot fully cover the communication area. In large facilities, the entire building becomes a coverage area, enabling seamless collaboration with staff on different floors. This allows staff to coordinate smoothly, leading to improved operational efficiency.

Specialities,Sales point
This is Kenwood’s digital simple radio relay system, which utilizes the relay channel (3D) for digital simple radio stations, a system institutionalized by the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications in 2023. By implementing the “NEXEDGE® CR” system, centered on the “TCB-D239CR” digital simple radio repeater, you can expand your communication coverage area. Furthermore, it is effective in eliminating dead zones where radio signals previously could not reach between digital simple radio terminals. It also delivers clear voice communication; since the repeater relays the digital audio received from the terminals as-is, there is no audio degradation, ensuring the same voice quality as direct communication between terminals even during relay transmission. Remote management is also possible; by connecting the repeater to an IP network, you can monitor its status and operate it remotely using web-based tools. This eliminates the need to travel to the repeater’s location to make changes, even when switching repeater channels.

By utilizing LTE networks throughout Japan, seamless wireless communication—without the need for a license—is possible between long-haul drivers and logistics hubs in industries such as transportation and logistics (wide-area delivery and warehouse management).
Furthermore, with an audio output of 700 mW, the “KBX-P51” allows for clear transmission of instructions even in noisy environments such as warehouses. By utilizing the Second PTT function, users can instantly switch between reporting to the main group and issuing instructions to a specific group without the hassle of manually switching groups.
Its greatest appeal is that it automatically switches between LTE and Wi-Fi, ensuring uninterrupted communication even in vast work sites or buildings with significant elevation changes. Safety features are also comprehensive, including a “man-down function” that detects falls and a “lone worker function,” ensuring the safety of staff even in demanding work environments. -
Specialities,Sales point
By using both LTE connections via dual SIM (NTT Docomo/au) and Wi-Fi, you can automatically switch between up to three communication networks. Even if the connection becomes unstable, the device will automatically switch to a better network before you lose signal. It is also compatible with “Buddycom,” the leading IP radio app. This allows the “KBX-P51” to offer features such as call recording and playback, automatic voice-to-text transcription, automatic multilingual translation, and workforce management. The automatic multilingual translation feature supports 27 languages, enabling simultaneous translation into multiple languages from anywhere in Japan. As a dedicated radio device, it also features “Man-Down” and “Lone Worker” functions, which immediately notify teammates in the event of an emergency, providing robust support for on-site safety management. Another key feature is its ability to receive “Emergency Earthquake Alerts” and “Tsunami Warnings” distributed by the Japan Meteorological Agency, as well as “Disaster and Evacuation Information” distributed by various government ministries and local authorities.
