At this booth, visitors can experience Hokuyo Automatic’s advanced sensing technologies through a realistic simulation of logistics warehouse operations. The demonstration recreates a full workflow, including forklift receiving of packaged goods, collaborative robots sorting items by destination, cart transport to staging areas, and temporary rack storage before shipment.
The exhibit highlights safety solutions such as EtherCAT-compatible laser scanners for human-robot collaboration and wide-area monitoring through 3D intrusion detection, improving both safety and efficiency. Applications of slim 3D LiDAR and solid-state 3D LiDAR are also introduced. The slim type detects floor level differences and overhanging rack loads, while the solid-state sensor supports stable operations such as precise pallet detection by forklifts.
In addition, 4D LiDAR enables monitoring that captures distance and velocity to track human movement. A projector-based safety system visually alerts hazards by projecting warnings on floors and walls. Through these technologies, the booth demonstrates innovative solutions that enhance safety, automation, and efficiency in modern logistics environments.

Specialities,Sales point
This is a transmission device equipped with an 8-bit parallel I/O interface capable of wireless communication in the 2.4 GHz band.
Conventional systems relied solely on optical transmission devices, requiring precise alignment of the optical axes between units. However, this device enables communication without the need for optical alignment.
As a result, installation positions can be more flexible, and in communication between OHT systems and equipment, piping work is no longer required.
